A trading platform or trading terminal is a special software through which traders and investors can perform trading transactions in the financial market using their desktop computer/laptop or smartphone.
MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) are the two trading platforms available to AMarkets clients for retail trading. Today, MT4 and MT5 are considered the most popular terminals to trade CFDs. Both platforms are developed by MetaQuotes Software.

Accounts opened for MetaTrader 4 are compatible with this version of the trading platform only. You cannot connect to your MT4 account using the MT5 trading platform and vice versa. If you are going to use both platforms in your trading, please open separate trading accounts in your Personal area and install both trading terminals on your device.

MetaTrader for personal computer
A desktop version of the MetaTrader trading platform can be installed on any computer or laptop that runs on a 64-bit Windows operating system (at least Windows 7) or macOS.
AMarkets offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 versions.
Only the MetaTrader version for PC allows you to use Experts Advisors and install custom indicators.
MetaTrader for mobile devices
The MetaTrader platform for mobile devices allows you to trade conveniently anytime, anywhere. Simply install the MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 application on your device and get Internet access. The platform supports iOS or Android operating systems.
The MetaTrader for mobile devices version doesn’t support Expert Advisors and custom indicators.
MetaTrader Web Terminal
The web version of the MetaTrader trading platform that allows you to trade in the financial markets using any browser. There is no need to download and install the MetaTrader platform on your device.
MT4 MultiTerminal
MetaTrader4 MultiTerminal is a tool for traders and managers that allows simultaneous management of multiple accounts. Traders can open positions or place orders with one click. The system automatically distributes the total trade volume among several accounts depending on free margin, account balance and profit.
