How to test an Expert Advisor?

To test your Expert Advisor, you first need to attach it to a specific chart. Then, right-click on the chart with the chosen currency pair and select “Strategy Tester” in the “Expert Advisors” menu. After that, a window should appear at the bottom of the screen. Set all the necessary parameters and click “Start“. Alternatively, you can select the View – Strategy Tester tab in the MetaTrader 4 terminal menu.
