What is Leverage?

Leverage is the ratio between the amount of the collateral (margin) and the borrowed funds: 1:100, 1:200, 1:500, 1:1000. A 1:100 leverage means that in order to place a trade, you need to have 100 times less funds in your trading account than the transaction amount.
