I’ve attached an Expert Advisor to the chart, but it’s not working. Why?

Check the color of the Expert Advisor’s icon in the Navigator window. If it’s red, it means that using EAs is prohibited by the server. The “Auto trading” button on the toolbar should also be enabled. It enables/disables all EAs in the system. The EA’s status can be viewed on the chart. Just check the symbol in the upper right corner: smiley face – the expert is enabled and working, a sad smiley face – the EA is disabled and not managing trades, cross – EAs are prohibited. If the parameter “Allow live trading” is not enabled in the general settings of the advisor, then it will not perform any transactions on the trading account. It will only inform you about the possibility of opening a trade.
